Black, Red and White Thoughts

Bella

I love this card and how the image just jumps out on that black and white background. I love these three colors together aren't they just dramatic? Umbrellabella is too stinkin cute ain't she.. I know my English teacher would cover this post in red ink..hee hee. Hope you like it.

SU! Best Fishes..

SU2

A jellyfish and a little bling make this card festive. It's bright and fun. The photo doesn't really do it justice. The colors are much more vibrant in person. Another masculine looking card to add to my stash. I am still plugging away trying to create more masculine cards to keep in my stash. This one is one such card. The sentiment I created on my computer and punched out with my SU! punch.

PJ Riley's Feel Better

PJ Riley

Sorry for the lack of posting.. I am suffering through an awful toothache and have an appointment for monday for a ..yikes.. root canal. Wish me luck as I am terrified of the dentist. Well my milk allergy has finally caught up with my my poor little teeth aren't as tough as they should be my dentist says.. anywhoo.. on to the card. This is one that I may need myself nest week. ha ha. Hopefully not though. This Riley is really a Sophia now due to the colors that I chose to do her up with. Another card to add to my RAK stash. As a member of the RAK club on Splitcoast I send out many get well cards. Sick kids especially tug at my heart so I always try to find time to send them a little RAK love.  Keeping a few handy makes that easier.

Bella Hugs and Kisses

Bella10

While I LOVE the colors I used in this card I am not sure I am loving the final product. I think it may have been more to my liking had I used copics to color it in instead of the Prismacolors with Gamsol. The colors in the main image get lost in the strong colors of the background IMHO.

Card Specs:

Stamps: Stamping Bella, Papertrey

DP: HL

Cardstock: DCWV, GP, HL

Accessories: SU! Punch. Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol, Nesties, Perfect Layers.

Fly By Wishes...

Riley1

I know the sentiment is off... but I was trying to get is right.. the little thingy wouldn't bend though. Anyway.. I loved the versatility of this Riley. I love that you can customize him with any saying that you want. The SU! punch creates that fab scalloped border. The image is colored with Copics. I think he's cute despite the crooked sentiment.  But I know that even though this card isn't perfect my friend is going to love it just the same because I made it just for him.

M.I.A

Sorry for being MIA this week. Some very good friends of our are visiting for just a few days and we are soaking up every minute. Tonight we are painting the Riverwalk "red"! It's such a blessing to have people that share joy with you. Their oldest and ours are best buds and have been for years now. These are some of the people that bring joy to our lives. We just have a great time when they're around. So I hope you'll excuse the lack of posts but I will be back soon with something cute and blinged!

Happy Thoughts from the Bellas

Bella3

Billboardabella is just too cute right?  You can customize her for any occasion by changing her message. She comes with three. She is extremely versatile. You could even use some of your smaller fonts to fill in her sign. She is a great way to stretch your stamping dollar. By changing the colors you use and the phrase she can be used for almost ANY card.

Riley's Fish Wishes

Riley 5

This is yet another attempt to grow my collection of masculine cards. Riley enjoying a day fishing reminds me of DH and his buddies taking his friends boat out on the lake to do some fishing one Halloween day and promising to make it back in time to get the kids ready for Trick or Treating. Well you know what they say about the best laid plans.. needless to say they didn't make it back until we were almost DONE trick or treating. This card is for a friend who we don't see as often as we would like but still treasure.

Hippy Blessing

Melanie2

I LOVE this sentiment. As the economy and people in general continue to struggle I am constantly reminded just how BLESSEED my family and I are. My husband has a good job and we are all HEALTHY. Our children may not always have the newest toys or gadgets and we may not drive the nicest car but our children have everything they need and so do we. I created this card to send to friends who make our life richer by being a part of it.  We have some friends coming to visit over their spring break whom we haven't seen in a few years. Their oldest and ours  are best friends. I made this card with people like them in mind. People NOT things are what makes life joyful. We have been very fortunate in the number of friends we have gathered over the years. I hope that we enrich their lives as much as they do ours.

Riley's Feel Better Fly By..

Riley (6)

This Riley is one of the MOST versatile ones that I own. You can make him up for ANY occasion depending on the sentiment that you place in his banner. If any of you received the Papertrey First Anniversary set you you should own this stamp. I have used MANY of the sentiments included in that set with this image. Card specs are below.

Swimming by...

SU1

When I first saw this set I fell in love with it. Being a Hawaii baby I LOVE the ocean and these little sea creatures are just the most adorable EVER!!! I created the saying on my computer and punched it out with my slot punch from SU! I do this a lot because I would rather spend my money on images than words. Another fairly masculine card to add to the bunch. Card specs are below. Hope you like him as much as I do.

Riley Tube Wishes

CardsJanuary 003

Happy Saturday ya'll!!!  I hope your weekend is blissful. Being the only girl in my house I seem to need more masculine cards than I ever have on hand.  I have been  trying to expand my miniscule collection and thought a blue card would be one I could add to the bunch. I know I know blue Paisley doesn't scream masculine but... I'm TRYING here... I am a total girl's girl and love the sparkle and bling. I must amuse God often when I get grossed out by one of the boys in our house. Anyway.. here are the card specs. The main image is Hanna Stamps and the saying is Papertrey.

Bella's Bright Birthday

Bella9

This American Crafts DP is so gorgeous. I just LOVE it. I can't find it anymore and I am trying my best not to hoard the few sheets I have left. I keep telling myself that little theory I came across on Michelle Wooderson's blog.. ~use it you'll always find another DP you love~. I know she's right but it's hard to part with one that I love so much and that you have seen me use regularly here. The card specs are the same as yesterday's with the exception of the DP being American Crafts.  Hope your weekend is bliss.

Blinged Bella Birthday

Bella5

Should a girl ever be without her bling? I think not.. here's another Cupcakeabella but this time she's all blinged out! I love that coral pink color that I put on her dress. It's bright and fun. The DP is one of my faves and you see it over and over here. I buy it in large quantities from HL. It's part of the Paper Studio line. As always I used my copics to color and nesties to cut out my main image and perfect layers for the matting.

Birthday Calories DON'T Count!

This little moose cracks me up. He reminded me of DH after one of his chocolate indulgences. He gave it up for lent though.. man it's going to be a LONG 40 days for both of us. I gave up coffee. I am sitting here now with my eyes on my cup of Green Tea and willing it to turn into a coffee yummy. It's only a few days and I miss it already. Anyway.. I digress. Here are the specs on my card.. oh yeah BTW the sentiment I created on my computer.
